{travelogue} Shanghai diary [part ONE]

I'm back from one of the memorable trips again! Kind of bummed that I didn't update my blog about my Hong Kong and Bali trip last year. But it's alright.

At least I'm doing a Shanghai one. HAHA.

Anyways, this is the information about the trip :

Currency : RMB (Ren Min Bi or Yuan). 1 RMB = RM0.50 , 10 RMB = RM 5 (it's divided into half!)


This tour is under Apple Tours, which is quite reputable for its good programs and all (and since we went with Apple to Japan two years ago) , so we decided to give Shanghai a try with Apple.

But this time, it doesn't come out so good.

Korean Music Wave 2011 @ Malaysia!

I never knew this day will actually come :')

Seriously, it's too good to be true. I mean, 6 K-POP stars HERE?! In KL!? I thought it was impossible but it came true ;)

The whole day was crazy, really! We got ready by 4.30pm, and then at 5pm, my friend came to my house to join us as we're watching the concert together (;

Then the taxi cameeee, dum dummmm dumm.

We bought the RM438 tickets though. :) But since we're the "early birds", we had 10% off the tickets so it's only RM394 ! Cool huhhhhh ;)

Reached the venue, and we bought some stuff to eat before entering the stadium. I only had chicken rice for lunch :(

2 crazy days, in a row!

Two crazy days in a row, really ! Had so much fun with my friends and the lengzais and lengluis, ;D (KMW inside joke LOL)


On Friday, 23rd September 2011 ;

We had classes as usual that day, yeah nothing new. But after our classes we went out to watch Johnny English with my Crazy English class gang! :) There were 5 of us, and we went straight to Sunway Pyramid after class :D
The funniest thing is, it's my first time driving a bunch of people to Sunwayyy. Homg you can say that I am pretty nervous. Yknow how Sunway is with their tight parking space;;; 


But anyway, we managed to have an awesome time being crazy playing bowling and arcadeeeeeeee :) One of the best days in college so far, because we're more independent now and don't have to rely too much on parents transportation trolololololol;

I don't have much pictures so I won't be uploading them. :( , I will take more pictures next time, definitely ;)

Woooh. Legendary day for K-POP fans in Malaysia! 6 K-POP stars from Korea flew all the way to Malaysia for this concert itself ! Super rare treat, really. ;) But I'm really glad that they actually managed to bring the super legendary GD&TOP and Seungri to come!!!! Gah.

I'll be making a post of the Korean Music Wave 2011! :)

A new beginning, and my CAR!

This is already my second week in college.


A new beginning in everything. Studies, friendship, and life.


Oh and the best new thing is...

I GOT MY CAR. (: 

A brand, new car. A Myvi (ze new model). Hahah. A Pearl white Myvi. 

I name him Snow White ;) , but my family mostly refer him to his Chinese name, which is "Xiao Bai" (小白) ; "Little White".

HAHA. 

Yeah, since my mum's car is black, we call him "Xiao Hei" (小黑) "Little Black" .

And my dad's car is "Xiao Lo", since he is Milo colored (according to my dad; but actually it's more like Milo plus MILK). HAHA

.. So basically, our cars are all guys.

FIRST day, 7th June 2010

Woke up at 7.30am. Got ready and did last minute packing by 8am. Taxi arrived at our house at 8am sharp (our trustworthy taxi driver again) and left to LCCT.

It's that time of the year..... AGAIN!

Hohoho.

It isn't Christmas!

It's the time when the National Service website gets the most hits (and crash later forever)! Yup, that's right, it's when the list of names for the National Service trainees is finally OUT !


Nervous? Scared? Excited? Anxious?

It's normal. I remember during my year......

I was really nervous, scared and anxious until I didn't even dare to check it at ALL. I have no idea what was I thinking. But anyhow, when I entered my classroom one fine day, my friends just blasted to me;

"GURL, YOU'RE CHOSEN FOR NS."

And yeah, I didn't get a chance to react at all.

Anyway, it's all part of being a Malaysian! :) , read about my STORY in NS, HERE! :)

Trust me, it's not all as bad as it seems. Really :)

I had the weirdest dream....

I dreamt that Hyunseung forgotten his lines of his song then he came to me and asked me...

"Can I borrow your iPod? I seem to have forgotten how to sing this part."


.. and I just gave him my iPod and typed "FICTION" on the search bar.

He just took it from me and plugged the earphones into his ear and listened.


HOW WEIRD WAS THAT?! HAHAHAH.

My story; BEAST 1st Asia Tour Fanmeet

Venue : Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach
Date : 1st July 2011 (Friday)
Time : 8.30pm - 11pm

This is my story of meeting BEAST, for the second time in a NOT-SO-DETAILED version :)  , gonna omit some unnecessary parts like when the car keys malfunction..... so .. LOL!

Left my house at 3pm. Woke up at 10.30am to finish my gift for the boys (a little book with messages and pictures of the boys, all in Hangul thanks to one of my Korean friend, you know who you are :D ) . Got our placard ready, gifts ready, tickets ready, and hair ready! Lololololol :D


Then we left to Sunway! :) :) ! My mum provided us with the transport and the high 5 tickets, and of course, my dad provided the VVIP tickets for us! Thank you daddy and mummy :)

First stop, we went to the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach Entrance from the hotel side where there was a booth for the collection of the Star Planet stuffs :) , since we registered to be a Star Planet member (which clearly is JUST to get the High 5 session LOL) , so we had to collect our stuffs that came along with the whole package too.

While we were like, waiting to get our stuff, there was a bunch of security guards there assembling, waiting for  the commands. And that makes me feel like..... "HOMG BEAST IS JUST RIGHT DOWN THERE!" , like seriously! Their songs were playing really loudly until we could even hear it from up here!


Then we (sister, Mum and I), went to RedBox Karaoke to just have fun singing and raising our hyperness :DDD Oh and of course, we sang ALL the BEAST songs available in that karaoke thingy. But of course, it's just all their cover songs like "Bad Girl", "Shock", and "Breathe".

But who cares, we just sang them like we were the one who was gonna perform later LOL. "It's making me higher, higher, higher off tha groundddddd~"


By 6.30pm, my bestie called me on the phone (you know who you are! :D) and she told me she arrived Sunway already! So we quickly got ready to go out to meet up. We met up at the entrance there, and by 7pm, we started queuing up. It's numbered seating so it's no point lining up so early, really. And phew thank god, the VVIP's line is really short compared to the VIP one.

Then they checked our bags, gave us the admission wristbands and then we went downnnnn and straight to the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach! :)

There was only a few people only that time, so it was alright. Then we quickly went to our pre-order line and showed them the receipts and we got our stuffs! :D

Went to our seats then, but before that, I saw one of my friend helping out as a ticket-checker. HAHAHA!

Then we waited........ :D

Was using my phone then, checking for Twitter and FB updates from my friends. LOL! Then all of a sudden, the BEAST boys came in a buggy towards the backstage! HAHAHA! So adorable okay! They were like waving, and then all the fans started screaaaaaming!

Then by 8.30pm-ish (I kinda didn't bother to look at the time LOL) , the lights dimmed and then the MC for the night, Owen Yap, piped up "WELCOME TO BEAST 1ST FANMEETING ASIA TOUR..." and yeah that practically got everyone hyped LOL!

Alright, so their performance goes as follows;

They had a talk-time for awhile, answering fan's questions that was submitted by them during the contest period and the MC was busy asking them stuff about Malaysia LOL!

Some questions they answered were like "What superhero will you want to be if you had the chance to be one?" and Yoseob answered that with a "IRON MAN!" HAHA! Then he said "He'll be very happy if he could fly like Iron Man to Malaysia and then back to Korea and then fly to Malaysia again and again!" LOL. How adorable is that?!

There was one question too which is actually asked by a boyfriend of a girl ; "Can you sing a birthday song to my girlfriend? Because the ticket to this showcase is her present." , and they really did! So nice of them boys :)

#4 ; Beautiful 

At one point, they were talking about soccer, then knowing that my placard is related to soccer, I quickly stood up (stood up halfway :P),  and I pointed at my placard, my sister helped me too, and my mum :P ,  that gained attention from Doojoon, and he turned towards me and saw my placard which says "축구 킹 윤두두" (Soccer King Yoon Doo Doo) then he smiled, looked at me and pretended to kick a ball towards me on stage! HAHAHA!

He even smiled and waved at me! But I kinda forgotten what part was that HAHA!

#5 ; On Rainy Days 

GAME TIME! 

They then chose 6 lucky fans by lucky draw (It's like, 4,000 people, and they're only gonna choose 6. Like, wtf?!). After all of them had their partners, they started playing this long-winded bowling game, which took like, 20 minutes of our precious time. :/  But anyway it's really cute seeing them how they treat girls and all :D


Like there was one, a girl named "Charlotte" won the lucky draw. And then all the BEAST members were like; "CHARLOTTE!" , "CHARLOTTE??" and you know how they can't really pronounce English names that well. So instead they said like "CHA-LOT!" HAHAHAHA. So cute homg. And it was Doojoon's partner so he went and look at us VVIP people, and pointed at us "CHARLOTTE?" , and then he pointed at another side; "CHARLOTTE?". LOLOLOL. Adorable Yoon Leader!

Doojoon and his partner got the lowest marks , so there's this huge scoreboard that each pair was holding and Doojoon, to avoid embarrassment, took Yoseob's one and threw his one on the floor (they were sitting on stairs LOL) ; Yoseob was like "Where's mine?", then he saw it on the floor, he took it up and saw that it wasn't his, and he quickly snatched his back from Doojoon. LOLOL.

The participants of this competition wins a MBI Cellphone (local brand), while the winner (Dongwoon and his partner) won a huge AIR PURIFIER. LOOOOOOL. It seemed kinda useless, but then his partner asked him to AUTOGRAPH the box so that it adds more value. BAHAHAHA.

When they gave out the prizes, the Yoseob and Doojoon wanted to TAKE the phones instead of their partners (1 phone per pair), and then the MC was like "This is not for you lah!" LOL.


Cute stuff; 

- the MC announced the score for each team, but for Doojoon's team, he asked Doojoon to announce it himself because Doojoon and his partner was the loser. Doojoon funnily said "THIR...THIRTY!"

#6 ; Fiction 

At this part, we all asked for an encore since they went back to the backstage. Then before appearing again, Yoseob at the back with a mic asked "You want more??" Hahaha! So adorable! And he asked us to shout "Encore!" louder. But that time we were so tired already aiyaaa.

Anyhow they still came out! :P

*Random stuff ; Dongwoon kept chanting "순남신, 순남신" (Son Nam Shin) 순 - Son Dong Woon, 남 - Guy/Male, 신 - God . HAHA! He did it along with hand movements, and then when he started chanting to himself, EVERY FAN started chanting as well. Nearly sounded as if it's like a prayer or something, HAHA!

#7 ; Oasis

At this point, almost all VVIP people abandoned their seats to run in front to the railing that divides the audience and the stage, and got the BEST fan service EVER. Dongwoon, Yoseob, Doojoon, Junhyung kept coming to our side! And they are just an arm's reach away! Imagine that! So so so close! Sad thing is, I didn't bring my phone along when I abandoned my seat, but I was holding my placard at that time HAHA!

#8 ;  I Like You The Most

This part, my goodness. A total havoc I tell you! HAHAH! This song being upbeat and hyper, I tell you, none of the B2UTYs can resist their pelvic thrusts (part of their choreography :P) RIGHT in front of their eyes. Well, Doojoon just "pelvic thrust-ed" right in front of me too sooooo.... YEAH! :D ! MY EYES ARE NOT VIRGIN ANYMORE LOLOL /faints

#9 ; V.I.U 

You know how this song goes "I LOVE YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, beautiful ma, YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, beautiful ma girl!". And when Doojoon sang that (he was right in front of us that time), he pointed at me when he sang "I love YOU! *points at me*, you you you", Seriously that made me melt!

That's all they performed that night. :P

After the encore, we got to go for the High 5 session with BEAST since we got the passes that's why :P , then  we lined up, and I took out the picture of the showcase, where I got to take a picture with them last year.

We went backstage, where we can see them standing there waiting for us, LOL! Then one by one, we gave them a high five! What I can say is, their hands ARE soft. Okay no more arguments. LOL! 


Anyway, I quickly showed the picture to Doojoon and he looked at it, and I said "기억 해요?" (Remember?) and then Doojoon said "예,예. 비스트, 비스트" (Yes, yes. BEAST, BEAST.) LOLOL Then I was like "Ah~" then I high fived him multiple times LOLOL! So funny okay.

Then we had to go out, then we saw BEAST coming out from the backstage in a buggy that drove them to the hotel. All the fans were like literally chasing the buggy LOL!

Met my friend there and we just chatted for awhile, and then we promised to meet up again :)

Went back up to the entrance, and of course, those with red and blue wristbands can use the escalator (without mixing with the others). Of course, there's security guards checking the wristbands to allow us to use the escalator. Yknow what they said to make us all cooperate? LOL.

"Put your hands up~~! Yeahhh!...." (LOL THEY WERE AFFECTED BY THE CONCERT TOO LOL)

.. and an old police uncle added in;

 "..... in the air~!"

Pictures time! (As we were sitting on the VVIP area, which is like super close to the stage, there are many staffs that don't allow picture taking and recording. Which sucks, of course. What more, they'll point a laser directly to your camera if you keep using your camera. :/ )

Yes guys, BEAST is one of the guest for the upcoming MTV WORLD STAGE which is held on the 24th of July 2011! :) Fancy seeing them again huh? :)

About me going, I'm not sure yet because my college is already on the roll, sooooo.....

How were the members like during that night?


Doojoon ; 
He was playful, cheery and really interactive! He kept looking at us, smiling, waving, and all sorts of cute stuff he'll do :D , like the blowfish face, and his Doopose! Wow I'm really honored to get to see the Doopose done in real life. HAHA! He made sure everyone had interaction with him, making us feel really satisfied and contented. To summarize it all, HE WAS AWESOME! Oh and not to mention, HOTNESS OVERLOAD?! HAHA. Soccer King Yoon Doojoon, YOU ROCK and I love you! :D

Junhyung ;
I didn't get much interaction with him, but all I can say is, he totally opened up to us at the last part during the encore stages. He really smiled, laughed and ran around the stage like his usual self back in Korea which we didn't get to see last time when they came to Malaysia two events back. My sister, who's a huge Junhyung bias got some interaction with him! Lucky her! :)

Gikwang ;
This muscular boy is as cheerful as usual, though not as talkative as Yoseob and Dongwoon, HAHA. But really, he smiled, posed for the camera and everything during the showcase. He's really really energetic and happy which made us all smile as he kept his usual smiley face during the high five session as well! Adorableness! :D

Dongwoon ;
MAN GOD SON DONGWOON, is all I can say. He's really tall, and SO HANDSOME, I tell you. He kept running to our area and blow us fly kisses, waved and even sat on the stage so that we were on eye level with him! Plus his chanting of the "Son Nam Shin" was totally epic! Talk about self-praising though :P ! With his cute English skills, he would pipe out some words like "Come on, baby!!" and "Romantic guy!!". HAHA. He is CUTE!!!

Yoseob ;
Talk about CUTENESS TO THE MAX! There was one time after the encore, he quickly ran out from the stage's exit to come out and he nearly slipped on the stairs! But he just laughed it off like nothing happened at all! Plus, all the stuff he said to hype the crowd ; "You want more??". LOL. And he treated his game partner really well, ahhh! Cute, bubbly, friendly and cheerful boy he is! (:

Hyunseung ;
He's cool, he's awesome, but he's in his own world. He gave the least fan interaction and throughout the fanmeet, he only showed a really blank and expressionless face which kinda scared off the fans. He talked little too, probably one or two words. So meh, not much from him. During the high five session, I think I kinda skipped him accidentally, :( Sorry! But seriously, you can't go anywhere wearing that kind of expression of yours, soo CHEER UP HYUNSEUNG! :D

K-POP summerrrr :)

There's no four seasons in Malaysia. But we can have a taste of it when Korea releases Summer theme music + music videos ;D

Of course, though, not ALL of them are Summer themed songs. ;P , but more like, upbeat + catchy tunes and my personal favourites. Yeaaah!

Here are some really nice releases!


#1 - Kidult by Eluphant ft. Yoon Doo Joon from BEAST

; My personal favourite because the tune and all is super catchy. Plus, nice vocals from my bias, Doojoon (: ! The MV is nothing much, but the song is LOVE.

#2 - Meolbwa (Close Ur Mouth) by M&D

; M&D , a project group from SM Entertainment, consisting of 2 members ; Heechul from Super Junior and Jungmo from TRAX. I heard this once, and I'm liking it already! :)


Btw the MV is ADORABLE. Random stars just appear in this! Yong Jun Hyung from BEAST, Simon D from Supreme Team, Hongki + Jonghun from FT Island, and of course, the comedian Kim Kyungjin!

#3 - Only Learnt The Bad Things by B1A4

; Freshly debuted B1A4 popular for it's cute, fresh faced boys :P , I like them pretty much too. The boys are really my type. Heheheh. I'm loving this song too, although it's more like the slower paced type :)

Life's little stories.

Haven't been posting for a very long time, I've noticed.

ANYWAY,  just some short and brief stuff.


#1 - I've officially registered Taylor's College!
Wow really, I can't imagine how time fly. It flew too fast for me to catch it lolol. Anyway, my college will start on the 18th of July. So I have approximately 30-ish days left to go! Yeah, I'm doing NOTHING at home actually.
Oh and about the course I'm taking, it's Canadian Pre-U. Canada's Year 11 syllabus. I'll be taking English, Advanced Functions, Chemistry, Biology, Challenge and Change in Society and Calculus and Vectors. Woooooh, wish me luck!


#2 - I've passed all the training & successfully obtained my driver's license!
I started since April, then I had to do the theory test, and all the driving license under a really irresponsible teacher (thank God I survived his driving, oh my god.) and a few weeks ago I took my test, and passed after the second try; yeah I screwed up the first try meh but at least I passed so it's alright ;) !


#3 - I'm getting my new car soon! :D 
It's a local car, and I'll only be using it for a year or two only since I'm going overseas for my university... so yeah :( , oh well ! But ANYWAY, I'm really stoked for this! It's a Myvi Elegance! (: Their newly launched model early this month. Hahah! Can't wait!


#4 - I'm going for BEAST's 1st Asia Fanmeet! :)
Thanks to my dad and mum, :') They bought me and my sister VVIP seats that costs RM500. I'm sure I'll be having a great time, definitely :) Just to think that I'll see my boys again makes me really excited! :D



That's all I can think of, at the moment. Hahaha. Anyway, I'm happy and thankful that my life is going smoothly now. All I can say is, thank you God, and thank you to my dear family. (:

What's up in NS?! [Full recap : 2nd Semester - END]

I'm back at home while writing this.

.. and I can say that now I'm suffering from camp sick :(

Anyway, I would give shout out to you guys,

"NS DOES NOT SUCK. Well for me. Cos' my life in NS was REALLY FUN! (:"

I had so much fun, that I cried so many times during our closing ceremony. :(

Anyway, just to tell you, this post will all be about the 2nd semester's activities that we do :D

I graduated from NS.

I finally finished training! :) For 72 days, inclusive of the semester break.

, and guess what, I'M CAMP SICK NOW. :(

I miss my friends.
I miss my dorm, Siti Hajar (but not the toilet).
I miss my company, Alpha.
I miss my code number, 82.


SIGH. :(

What's up in NS?! [Full recap : 1st Semester]

So there's many opinions and thoughts about NS (National Service). But I'll just give you a rough idea here, and it's up to YOU to decide whether it's awesome or not.

Well, I really have to thank my awesome Camp Commander for approving my early leave out from the camp. ;) He's awesome, but the trainers are not. Believe me.

So I was placed in the camp in Teluk Rubiah, Lumut, Perak. Pretty much the style of how the camp works varies between camps.

But in NS generally, they call Guys as Wira (Hero in Malay) and they call Girls as Wirawati (Heroine in Malay)

In my camp, they start EVERY announcement with the sentence "Wira dan Wirawati" (Heroes and Heroine) , okay that was irrelevant information.

But the relevant information is; Guys CAN NEVER eat with the Girls, nor be very close to the girls (even light touching is considered something to be yelled at by the instructors). It's something to do with the religion and safety I guess. But we are allowed to have classes together and all, of course.

THERE'S SO MANY THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS CAMP, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START.

Okay, back on track...

I'm back from NS, for the 1st semester!

Hey guys, I'm back!

I've already went through 28 days of training. IT WENT BY SO FAST. REALLY.

So now I have a really long post to write about.

WHAT'S UP IN NATIONAL SERVICE (NS)?! IN THE NEXT POST :D

MIA for 72 days.

Last August, they released the list.

.. the list that the computer generated. It's random.

.. and I found my name there. :/


Last December, they released the camp + batch placing.

.. I found out that I'm placed in Perak (a town 3 hours drive from my house)

.. I found out that I'm the 1st batch (who is leaving on January 2011)


So TOMORROW, is the day.

.. TO NATIONAL SERVICE.

I'm going to miss my family, online friends. Yeah. Actually if it wasn't for this camp, I'd be rotting at home too.

So might as well go for something productive, right?

Anyway, I'll be back on the 13th of March 2011. It's only 72 days. Don't worry, I think I can last. :)

*does the terminator pose*, "I'LL BE BAAAAAAAAACK" - 2PM.


Well, I'll see you guys later. No FACEBOOK, No Twitter in camp. Unless I got my phone, my lousy old phone.

OH on the bright side......

72 days till I get my new HTC phone! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 ! :)

Wow, time flies super fast. I remembered I just started 2010 and then BAM. 2011 new year. I still can't absorb it. 

But hey, 2010 was a REAALLLY awesome year for me, despite the exams. 

Idol encounters, K-POP stuff, new friends from around the world, and all that tiny stuff that makes me happy. 

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 !

I'm still not used to typing that. HAHA.

I just came back from a trip to Hong Kong. I don't have time to blog about it as my holidays were PACKED with activities. 

... and mostly RO (online game) :D

I just played a server called LimitRO and now I've made such great weirdo friends that I can't play without.
